Ok This BS about being able to self identify on Workday is going too far...1st if all..WHO CARES?. Is Lowe's getting a kick back off those who are LGBTQ OR whatever? Is this an attack on the rest of us? Why should they even care especially when they say it's private information? Sounds suspicious to me! Just saying

The standard corporate self-identification is actually required by the US government.
It's form EEO-1.
If people self-identify as various minorities, it actually helps the company in the eyes of the government.
As far as I know, there are "only" two sexes (male and female) on the form, and there is nothing about se-ual preference.

On a serious note, this is the boolshyt that is ruining our world. Employees are employees, and their se-ual orientation shouldn't even remotely play a part in how qualified someone is for a job.
