We are destined to live in a Sears and Kmart purgatory of never-ending slow liquidation. Lampert will keep active anything he can associated with Sears or Kmart to make a few extra bucks, using the “good name” of Sears and Kmart as long as he can find anyone who remembers the once mighty powerhouses. Even as the empire deteriorates around him, he seeks buyers for the empty shells that remain. Lampert relegates all who care about the Sears or Kmart legacy to participate in a slow, painful deathwatch. A dying horse usually gets a quick and humane death. Unfortunately, It won’t happen that way for Sears and Kmart. Prepare yourself for the long, cold winter of sad news that is to come.

I think they will all be gone by year end. Maybe all at once. Cannot operate over all that geography. Maybe the island stores sold as a group
Now that we finally solved our liquidity issues we are better positioned for a surprise comeback. Keep your eyes open, we will disrupt retail as you currently know it.
