Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Process for investigating a manager?

We have a TL that has had nearly a dozen se-ual harassment complaints made against them in the past few weeks. Supposedly the investigation is ongoing, but this TL is still in their area. I get they need to investigate, but I would think the nature of the complaints plus the sheer number of them would warrant this person being moved away from the accusers.

I've worked in other places where a supervisor was accused of something like this, and they were either suspended, or moved somewhere away from their accusers until the investigation was complete. These people still have to answer to this person. It's creating a tense atmosphere to say the least.

If complaints are being filed internally, then this will quietly go away. Those affected need to know their career is over at walmart and be strong enough to file with the state AG. Let Walmart get the details when the state sends them a summons.

Laughable, now petty. Make a point using your resources, follow the chain of command, if shreds of truths exists then the matter will be handled. Until then your vocal abuse and continued discussion only proves to stand against your case not for it.

Already have. That's why it's being investigated. Hence the original question. I honestly don't know how I can d-mb this down any further for you.

Use your resources and Mr. Webster, to bring your grievance to the right door. Do you need the information to reach the right door?

You don't know the facts of this case. You don't know what I've seen. You don't know what I've reported. You're just a little troll with a smarmy attitude.

Are those your go to words when expressing yourself? Not a wonder you can not articulate your grievance. How terribly frustrating. There are so very many resources available to you to assist you in resolving the situation. Since you are not involved, it appears that all the facts are not known. Your relationship to the person is irrelevant. It lends no credence to the complaint. Serves only to prove an emotional response. It is human nature to want to see someone punished immediately for what we consider a wrong doing, when in fact those things considered to be facts turn out to be hearsay. Perception is not always reality. What did you expect to accomplish here on this page? Use your energy to bring concerns the correct way, use your resources. Name calling is an example of immaturity and only serves to prove the other side of the story to have some validity. I have used the process and it works. Facts are Facts at the end of the day. Innocent until proven guilty. Why should it be any different at WM. If this person did retaliate my question would be , Why have you not reported them? Since it does not involve you more than likely people are feeding off emotions and not actual fact.

OP, our store manager was a horrible human. Not a se-ual predator, but still a horrible human. It took us years, but we finally got her fired. We would have several associates complain to ethics every single day until they did something about it. Give that a try. Hopefully it won't take years for this person to be dealt with accordingly. Sorry you are having to deal with that.

Considering my relationship to one of the victims, which is none of your business, this is very much my damn business.

Yeah, leaving a se-ual predator in position to retaliate against their accusers really shows the system working.

How about some of this person's actions being on camera? That LEGIT enough for you?

Read this SLOWLY. I wasn't asking about the LEGIT facts. I am asking why this person is still in position of authority over their accusers while being investigated. Simple enough for you to understand? Probably not, but I tried.

So, take your sanctimonious attitude, and shove it, troll.

No it is not your business. I have freedom to speak like you. Legit issues do not get posted here. Follow the process it works. Usually people who post here have some shady reasons to do so, when complaining about other associates. You do not have all the facts in this case. Perception is a sad state to live in. Go complain on a FB page somewhere to gain support for your cause. It is full of Educated lawyers who will side with you. Keep that in mind when you do not get the end result for which you are looking. Legit facts, Legit details, Legit actions not perceptions. You can substitute the word Legit for REAL if that helps you.

It is very much my business thank you. If you don't have anything constructive to say, stfu. This manager has already retaliated against some of the people who have complaints against them in the past. It's ridiculous that this person has been allowed to continue this behavior.

IF the shoe were on your foot, would you not want them to investigate thoroughly? If allegations are true then those that complained step up to write statements then that person will be handled. It is none of your business what has happened, and you do not know if that person was coached or not. SO MYOB. It takes weeks to investigate. Keep that in mind and be glad , one day that may be you.
