Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Uncertainty is the worst

When I feel like layoffs are around the corner but they still haven’t announced anything, the motivation is zero and the anxiety is astronomical. How do you even find the will to get the job done while waiting for them to let you know if you are a layoff target or not??? I don't know anyone else who starts working better after rumors of cuts start happening.

The minute we were told of layoff March 8th, I was ecstatic ! Finally free of this horrible department and good-for-nothing management. Few more days and it's over.

Unless you are diversity or specific race so you are saved and most likely promoted with no merit

It is and you know it’s you when you’re over a certain age and they publish your age and send it to all managers so if you over 40, you can plan on going. Look around. You can’t possibly focus or be motivated when all you think about iswhen you will be cut.
