I see comments alluding to no pay increase this year. Do y'all genuinely not know how to read an email? It clearly states effective Jan 1st '22 salary program will change, if you are elegible (most of you can't even read so I doubt any of you will get a good ranking anyways).

The salary program changes every year. Every year new salary curves and promotion matrix are endorsed/changed. Historically, the company has not CUT salary, but pay raises can be poor for several years if an employees drops down in ranking. The company has also rarely demoted someone...easier to PIP. I expect many (bottom half) will get lousy pay raises this year, and expected promotions will be delayed. You need to know your market value outside XOM, many of you would do better to resign.

At our forum they said no raises ... this was a few weeks ago. I am in downstream Canada though.
If you’ve read the company plan (Dataguide), then you know salary treatment for each country that is currently being proposed. Talk to a friend in a planning advisor position if you want that info. I’d be wary about posting that information on this forum with a work phone or even on campus though.
