I don’t think it would be a good thing for Denbury to be sold, but I see here that some are even hoping for it. I would love to hear arguments as to why some think it would be good to be sold. I definitely hope I get out of here before that maybe happens.

Those of us that have been here for a while have been gutted for years and have every right to be salty. Since I have been here (over 8 years) I have been asked to do more with less every year, benefit after benefit has been cut, tons of the experienced coworkers have been pushed out of the door, ZERO career development outside of on-the-job training is offered, and I’m not a shareholder of DEN, just a bunch of penny on the dollar DNR warrants that I don’t know what to do with. I’m just a number “lucky to have a job” and hoping to get a bonus every year.
Being sold sounds refreshing if just one of the things above is remedied.
When you're run by private equity...you're always for sale.
Be nice to find a home with less micro managers and more of a focus on employee development…
I would like to be sold so maybe just maybe the next company would value all its employees, not just management. They think everyone is replaceable and have no problem watching employees walk out the door. Supes and above still get an LTI. They cut out the bottom, the ones who made the smallest LTI. It might be worse with a new company but im sure as he-l ready to try it out!
It's not that we would want to be bought but if you are doing something well and valuable, some other company might want to buy you.
Because anyone who’s been here a decent amount of time would get a year’s salary…and it’s probably the stimulus a lot need to give them a nudge to move on and find a job that invests in your personal career growth.
