I just resigned after 13 years with the company. It was bittersweet and very much needed! (former CSX here)
It's difficult to identify leaders with empathy and foster a culture where people want to work when the senior leaders in the NW don't have the qualities themselves. It gets to a point where no matter how much you pay people, it's simply not worth the emotional and stress and toll to continue to work in such a toxic environment.
my store had 4 managers one is gone but dont know reason... who was the big wig that got the boot ?
One of the big people that ran the company into the ground lost his job today. Good riddance because that type of housecleaning was needed.
When you treat your colleagues like “SH#T” they will leave (like the poster said) and go find a company that will appreciate/respect and pay you more!! There are a lot of great jobs waiting for you out here. Don’t waste your time here anymore! Make the move…..
NW region starting to catch on to the issue now that they have a million management openings...RDOS actually acknowledged it on weekly call finally but of course didn’t offer any solutions...too little too late and now everyone is heading for the hills
