Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

How are some stores so much better?

Some Walmart stores are much better than others! I recently visited a store that already at a first glance seemed to function much better than the one I work at. The friend who works there is much happier than I am. I wonder, how is that possible? If that store can be OK, then why can't the store I work at function just as well?

Some stores are better than others because the management work together and respect each other. In other stores management is not organized or on a power hunger which causes resentment and makes people petty.

The store is a reflection of the store management. Good store managers run good stores.

Walmart doesn’t value long term employees or loyalty by how they treat their employees. My answer to your question is management. Some are toxic and run the stores poorly. Depending on management and how they run things that’s how the store will be.

Probably not running the store on the Home Office programs. Probably NO long-term employees there. New people don't know any different.
