Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Ohhh our future!

Stolen from the Allstate site.........the race to the bottom! I'm soooo excited about our future, I just can't wait to see what they have in store for us. Maybe another $10 Founder's Day gift card... for the 100th year Anniversary, I bet they double it to $20..wait we don't want to put too big of a dent in those billions of dollars of surplus profits! Stupid me! Cheers!

"Saw the job application below which was posted 6 days ago for a position in India and already has nearly 400 applicants. Using the current Rupee to U.S. $ exchange rate, the math works out to $2,019.55 - $6,732.06 vs a $40k+ salary here in the US. Most of the jobs listed don't even have the salary disclosed (surely intentionally), as they are likely in the same ball park or much less."

@uvc+1bG7OGTe Or the outsourced Indians actually negotiate their tech value and negotiate the time they have on projects to be sure they are done in complete and not completely half assed so a team can make their metrics.

Nothing more psychopath like than rushing creativity and perfection because 5 years ago you opted it was a bad investment call.

Just so you all are aware. Allstate is hiring masses of claim handlers out of that office overseas. They are literally replacing their CA level workers with offshored employees.

Hopefully, all of IT/ET/Systems will be out sourced to India. It is a miracle Sf functions at all with the worst IT shop in the industry. Archaic agency, claims and underwriting systems are making those functions work twice as hard to cover IT ineptitude.

Whittle one doesn't like truth? They're whole objective is to sell out assets "they consider" expenses. Greedy little whimps.

Customers will not notice the difference, A call center in India probably has better English spoken than our current call centers in Atlanta and Dallas. It’s already like speaking to somebody in a Third World country When you call.

You really are clueless as far as the financial workings of the insurance industry. One good thing about transitioning your job to India, the guy that takes it probably won’t be on here spewing the type of cr-p you are. Get out. Now.

And they don't have to pay benefits. Middle class is gone. Typical elitist move.
