Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Why hire just to fire?

I've seen several people so far - all young folks - hired and then fired (or laid off or whatever) within a few months of joining the company. Why would we do that? They were not bad workers, they were just still in the learning/adjusting phase. I feel bad for them, talk about starting your career in a cr---y way like that...

I have seen a lot of posts on LinkedIn about “Welcome these new Sales Development Representatives”… Are you saying they blow smoke then fire these people?

Citrix is trying to become a Netflix with a hire and fire policy while paying like AMC and having technology like Blockbuster.

It’s the fault of shitless non-management to bring people in and put them through the grinder and fire them for unreasonable expectations...
Another cr---y way sh---y non-management has learned to keep their bonuses at the expenses of the real worker...
