BBBY has gone downhill in the last few years. The results and morale are just not there anymore. I’ve seen bad decisions after bad decision year after year and I am always surprised at how blind management is to their mistakes. It’s sad for employees who love working here and know deep down inside that it will never be as good as it once was.

I truely wonder if somebody in corporate actually read and take heed to the grips and gripes of the employees. Employees are not stupid or puppets. We work hard, have great ideas and yet seem to falter when management is the ones making the poor decisions. All I ask is that the CEO and executives listen to you employees.
Now I definitely know something is screwy with this company. A store manager was knocked down to a senior because he couldn't handle the position. Just found out that he is going to be a store manager again. The biggest id--t that this company could ever keep. He was let go from other companies because of incompetence. BBB hasn't learned yet. Let go of great people and kept the mo--ns.
I doubt they scour the web. I am guessing that someone has a big mouth and that is how the video got discovered. There are many BBBY videos out there..
not saying anyone from corporate is or isn't on these boards, but don't pretend like they don't scour the web looking for things
we got in trouble one year because a dumpster diver went through some damages outside and posted a video on youtube about it, and corporate found it and figured out it was our store
it's not like they have anything better to do, lol
No one from corporate is going to sites to see what a handful of people are posting..They do not base survey questions on what is written here by a few people. Is anyone that posts here over 22? Come on..raise your hand
Haha I mean there is still a good chunk of corporate employees left so it is feasible that one of the lower tier employees are monitoring this, the reddit board, and glassdoor to truly see company morale. Though to address OP all I am going to say is that this company is going through a drastic transformation from where they were even in 2019 plus with how dramatically retail has changed because of covid, the job has simply changed as a result. Just the nature of the industry as a whole and we just have no control of these things anyway.
Seems like alot of things discussed here ended up on the company survey. But yeah, they don't read this board. Someone knew about the dress code change, definitely no corporate heads here.

The person saying there is nobody from corporate here is the person from corporate. If not sanctioned by corporate! They must feel it is their duty to chastise anyone telling the truth about what is going on in the stores for the company to somehow save face. Your “good deeds” will go unnoticed, and as soon as your position is no longer needed you will be gone too. There is no reward for loyalty at BBB.

The initial post was an opinion and your plan to insult them is itself insulting. Every time someone brings to light an error from management or difficulty they are facing you chime in.
If you are from corporate and you want to bully people, you’re already doing daily in the stores. Don’t do it off the clock. We’re not paid here to listen to it! Ge-z.

What is the point of your post? It is another bashing post like the many before you. Another employee who complains yet still works at BBBY..maybe try counseling
