Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Extreme Micro Metrics Management

State Farm Mutual Company netted nearly 2 billion between 2019 and 2020…while putting nothing back into a broken down work force. Now we see Crisis Management trying to throw band aids on every day problems….pulling auto workers into the fire company because they dont have enough employees to do their job…..next week there will be daily crisis going on…..all because we rely on metrics to drive us into daily crisis management……the fact is morale is at an all hign LOW….because the company has failed to recognize…we dont have enough workers to do what is asked…..now hurricane season is in front of us…..and panic mode again is getting ready to start….we will be asked to do more….Executive leadership has failed miserably….

LOOK REAL GOOD AT THIS POSR STATE FARM. LOOK REAL CLOSE AND GOOD AT IT. COPY IT AND READ ALL OF IT TO EVERY EMPLOYEE IN HUDDLES, IN EVERY MANAGEMENT MEETING, AND EVERY EXECUTIVE MEETING. THEN STOP AND DO SOME SERIOUS THINKING OF HOW YOU CAN TURN THIS AROUND!

Your “management” is trying to act like big tech and big propaganda industry leaders and being on every contractor or third party system they can calling or reducing technical debt. It’s exploitation and how Data grab. China models to be put on. “Social good ya know”

Why pay upper management when they are puppets?

It should be obvious to any SF employee. They have set up the entire system so that no matter how dedicated, loyal, and hard working you are they can get rid of you in a heartbeat. That causes paranoia, lack of trust, and anxiety. You need to sit down and ask yourself: Is it really worth your mental and physical well being to allow anyone to abuse you and run you in the ground for "their" benefit? If the answer is NO then take action to avoid it. It will show you respect yourself.

Decisions are being made fast without communication. Fast equates to mistakes especially without accurate communication.

When you have anarchists in executive and consulting what do you expect?

Yes the email was pretty hilarious that came out on Friday asking those folks the question if they wanted to go back to the department they were re-assigned from. Every department is sinking now! Everyone need not forget, this company is Enterprise Led! No one below the VP level is consulted on anything, ever, or has any decision making ability. They just follow the flow chart and spread sheet and count the beans. It is purely a numbers game and to squeeze every penny out of the organization. They will just sweep the bodies to the side and hire more id--ts. They just need bodies to fill seats and not have it fall apart until they get it automated. As soon as everyone, and I mean everyone, can come to terms with this, the better off they will be. I'm praying for a bunch of hurricanes this year to blow this f-cking company apart. When the lawsuits and bad press take hold then maybe, just maybe, the elites that messed this up, heads will role, but that is a big if. I doubt even then anything would happen..

They didn't become a multi billion dollar company by appreciating the ones who do the day in day out work that made them billionaires. They made their money cutting and expecting more. They will continue to abuse as long as you let them.
