Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Match restored

Match to be restored in Oct. But to fund the 7% match for 100% of employees, XOM must offset these additional costs with layoffs in office staff. Since only 50% of employees are office staff (non-union), 2 to 3 years of 5 to 8% layoffs of low performers in the office will pay for this compensation increase to the remaining office and field/plant employees. THANK-YOU low office performers for helping to fund the restoration of the corporate match to all of us field people. We are the union workers who are Essential and did not gripe about work from home...We went to the field and plant everyday to keep oil fields producing

Plenty of engineers in field offices worked through the pandemic as well in the office. Many in Houston would have as well if asked to. Grow up troll.

Lots of people were in the office everyday Really rude to think that field workers are so important. If you are so valuable why do you have to have a union? Can’t stand on you own feet?

If you think only union workers were in the field keeping things going you're d-mb as fu-k and probably need a union to support your staying employed.

Your union can suck my di-k... From the back!
