What is genuinely heart breaking is watching a company that invests so much time, effort and social media space to convince the world how great it is when employee testimonials overwhelmingly convey a complete lack morals and ethics. Many of us share that frustration. After 30 years, I was terminated by people I did not know and given 5 minutes to pack a box before being openly shamed with an escorted walk to my car. All my so called Pepsi friends suddenly forgot who I was. Yes, I was angry and hurt. And yes, my rights as a dedicated employee were not respected. You just need to smother the anger and move on. Pepsi will force you to sign a full a complete release of any action against them as a condition of your severance so you will have no recourse anyway. A truely class act. There is a better life after Pepsi. I can't tell you what a relief it is to go to work everyday and be genuinely appreciated. I can see from these posts that Pepsi is still toxic. It truely is sad. The lesson I learned, hug your family more often and save your respect for those who demonstrate integrity rather than those who try and convince everyone they have it. Once your usefulness to the company and your peers is done, they will nothing more than a passing event in your life. On the other hand, your family will always be there with open arms whether you rise or fall. Think about that the next time you tell your family you can't join them because you have something you need to do for work.

That is RG’s way to do things around here. He doesn’t care about employees as human beings he just care about his board and how much money he can get
My experience as well after 27 years. Why I was picked over others that are still employed is beyond me. I had just had an amazing review so it was totally unexpected. My termination was one of the most degrading experiences of my life.
I completely understand what you went through. It happened to me last year after 36 exemplary employment. Loved my job and my so called friends . I still am in touch with one or two but I think the fact that most managers or fellow employees never tried to reach out was hurtful beyond words. I was not walked out. I cleaned up my desk and left. Never been back and got severance and am enjoying early retirement
