These people are taking advantage of all of us on a daily basis., The way I pay them back is to go as slow as possible. You guys know what Im talking about. Agreed. your an id--t. I can't stand a thief. Just go to work and follow their rules. It'll make you plenty of money and realistically if everyone did follow the rules one of two things would happen; A. the rules would be changed. or B. the entire PSR process would be scrapped.
In the mean time just do your job, and stop stealing stuff that isn't yours.
Cuts continue and safety is out the window. We just had an amputation in our terminal (Norfolk Southern) because a conductor was riding a shove on a monster train with DP and was thrown off the car he was riding. It has been more than 20 years since anything like that has happened. Now we are seeing more cuts. Derailments are also up. They are now doubling up loaded oil and ethanol trains. I was on a combined ethanol/ oil train that was 13000 feet long and 24,000 tons. Slack action was unbelievable. It is just a matter time before one of these monsters ends up on the ground. I hope Cindy Sanborn is on the office car special next to it when it does. It is just a matter of time before a small community next to the rail is vaporized.
