One thing that is missing : over decades, there wasn’t any growth at all when you consider the stock splits that have occurred. It’s worse than flat. I might also add in that artificial inflation of EPS should drive away all competent investors. Sadly this manipulation is not as clear to institutional investors as it is to current employees or the recently laid off. Eventually SEC and audit firms will begin taking notice of failed corporate governance but due to the many higher visibility violators today this may take awhile.
