Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

How long until complete collapse?

Am I exaggerating or is there not much time left until the complete collapse of this company? How much is left till we hit the rock bottom? I would like a miracle to happen and for the company to position itself for future growth, but everyone says that it is impossible. It could have been all different, had the right moves been made at the right time by people who knew what they were doing and had a vision for the company.

At least until 2025. Biden administration just announced a Basic Universal Revenue and Profit (BURP) program to save companies supportive of Democrats policies.

We have been saying we are at rock bottom every year for the last 10 years but seem to just keep going.
But yes at some point after the covid is over if numbers still decline then some companies or going to need to merge.

Fujifilm will wait it out patiently, as they have been, and buy us out for peanuts on the dollar. We will then finally be one big happy family. We are nothing else (except Nuvera and iGen) than a distributor, after all. Brush up on your Japanese.

Complete collapse? Not likely. Being bought out and combined is a potential outcome.

Complete collapse is probably 5-7 years out. But “efficiencies” (layoffs and cost cutting) will be ongoing throughout that time. If you will have a hard time moving on after layoff, you should consider getting out now.
