Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

How many people here have given up on their dreams?

I read someone’s post that I find somewhat offensive about Walmart being staffed by people who are failures in life. I do not think so. Far from it, people do their job diligently and honestly and no one should see anything wrong with that. We cannot all be lawyers or doctors.

How many of you have given up on your dreams and further education after you entered the machine called Walmart? And how many people did Walmart inspire to return to further education after seeing how miserable it is to be an employee of this company?

Recently a young guy who was a great colleague left all this and went back to college. I was overjoyed when I found out about it.

I have posted some things on here and that troll always seems to find my posts and say what failures people who work at Walmart are he/she is nothing but a troll. I recently quit after 10 years. I got tired of how things were going at Walmart. The latest scheduling did it for me. Walmart forcing people to work outside their availability or they will lose full time and benefits was it for me. I put up with awful management who treated us like dirt, terrible store staffing on most days I was by myself until 2 pm and constantly getting locked out of the register. I just got tired of it. I found a new job making 6 more an hour. The timing could not have been better. It just got to be to much at Walmart. Walmart is toxic and effects mental health. It is never to late to go back to school or try and get out. If you are unhappy start looking you may get lucky and find some place that will value you and you will be a lot happier.

Those people looking down on Walmart associates are often the ones sitting on their behinds collecting a check.
