They are not interested in a pool of skilled labor but a pool of cheap labor.

The old IRP worked well until it became too expensive for the districts to use it.
They have tried that before and it flopped
Now that operations are being handled out of Oklahoma RMD is done. Have been told they are going to set up a labor pool for field personnel and use them when needed.
The end has been here for a long time. When they didn’t get rid of those clowns in the Aberdeen office we were doomed.
At least you guys have coordinators who have worked in the field.
Look at our field management! What do you expect? They mess up and get sent back to the field at someone’s expense.
Baker’s will be out of Scotland if they don’t change their ways, SNP & the Green Party are about to put pressure on the oil industry, cost way too much for baker’s to complete, sad to say it but is this the beginning of the end
ND rig count has doubled from this time last year. How many rigs has our dynamic leadership managed to score?
Baker have made it very clear in which direction they are heading. If you are worried about whether or not you will still be employed in 20 years you are in the wrong business.
If you are looking for a long term career in field operations Baker is not your company. They will keep on cutting until there is nothing left. It makes for economic sense to them to have you quit rather than lay you off.
There is no doubt that Baker want out of field operations. They are prepared to watch Field Ops die a slow death.
Politics runs this company and the company has publicly announced its intentions. Regardless of point of views, theirs no turning back. BH must make good on its marketing promises. Chasing $70+ barrel oil would cripple the stock.
Either BH gets rich or dies trying.
Oil at at $70 a barrel and the word on the street is that the ND rig count will triple. Life is good! Maybe, but not for Baker. They have little chance of increasing their 10% market share. They can no longer tout their tool reliability and field experience. The oil companies are no longer buying into what our management and sales group spew out.
They didn’t listen to their customers and pushed remote ops at the expense of good quality field personnel. Remote ops may be the way of the future but until all the operators are on board with it Baker will continue to suck hind t*t.
BH need more talents.
BHI simply can’t compete in this market. Poor tool reliability and a demoralized field work force has put them to the bottom of the customers’ list as company of choice. Word is they are going to move their ops out of ND. May as well kiss working in the Bakken goodbye.
Wrong people making wrong decisions. To make the balance sheet look good they forced their experience out.
hey how come keep f-up on drilling and losing work? This rot started with aberdeen drilling dept due bad management and incompetence. what a fracking mess
