Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Can it function without full time employees?

Does anyone know or have any idea what the percentage of full time associates is here now in relation to the total number of employees? It is very clear that Walmart is trying to get rid of full time employees by all means but I can't imagine how a company would function without them. How would it affect the company in the long run?

Their goal is to have part time employees and have to pay no benefits. A lot of part timers are scheduled 40 hours but they will put them under 34 for a week or two so they don’t qualify to be full time. It’s all how it’s coded in the computer. They will make part timers 40 hours but never give them full time status. Walmart is a horrible company and I am so much happier since I quit last week. How they treat long time employees and current staff may be their downfall in the future. They mistreat their long term associates and do not care. No one is valued there and nothing but a WIN number and for that reason I’m glad I’m out.
