They speak of promoting the common good but how can it be good when these jobs are given to other countries? They have already begin outsourcing to India and the people that answer the phone cannot understand a word you are saying , they pass off your issue to the wrong person. It is really sad what this company has become. The nuns that sacrificed so much would not recognize these social Justice warriors that have abandoned the dignity of each person , born and unborn to support a socialistic agenda.
There are too many smug leaders at the top of Ascension Technologies.
Leadership change long overdue.
It's a "Corporation with a Cross." No more no less. All the "prayerful consideration" before staff cuts is baloney. It's all about money....
They just announced a multimillion dollar building program in Indianapolis. The money has to come from somewhere. And don't give BS about it coming from "different accounts."
Fortunately my department was skipped in outsourcing because our market was too complex. I do realize they may be more shortsighted in the future. Keep that resume fresh. Hopefully the negative publicity will sp--k them back to slightly more ethical behavior. The CEO did "resign" awhile back after his salary was reported. It seems they are creating market share by creating more poor to "service". From an employee point of view they always act like they are going broke being as cheap as possible, except when putting up signs.
Unfortunately all the MBAs have decided to cut costs and employees to increase their bonuses.
Nothing you can do but look for another job.
