Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

Merger with Interpipeline

With merger with Interpipeline, is it reasonable to assume that there are now duplicate departments that will be consolidated, resulting in job cuts? Duplicate departments like: HR, engineering, IT, accounting, finance, supply chain etc.

Are most jobs with both companies based in calgary?

Regardless, good deal for shareholders

Based on my interactions with IPL, their systems, standards, processes, and procedures are far more streamlined and superior to Pembina's. The corporate culture seemed more positive and professional. It is going to be interesting to see how this all shakes out over the summer and which of us are left standing and who resigns. Here is Pembina's opportunity for the next cull, and to rid the bad apples redundancy in mangement.
