@wqr You were lucky. All the Xerox people that supported me who were moved over to HCL got hit with sizable pay cuts last year and then we’re let go.

I believe "Profit Sharing" bonuses were still being paid out to employees as late as 1995. It amounted to 10% of your salary paid out based on the prior year's ROA (return on assets). And just as Xerox began to scale back on those employee incentives and benefits, many of their top performing sales and management staff quickly abandoned them to pursue other opportunities and vendors. That's precisely when Xerox' business results began their precipitous decline. It is now a mere skeleton of what they once were - number of employees, revenues and stock price are at historic lows. The future does not look promising either. Sad place to work indeed.
