Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

To stop nepotism is urgent

Can flagrant nepotism be stopped here at all? I wouldn’t belittle anyone, but.... I used to work with people who were top experts at their jobs, and now I work with average people who have special connections here. It is sad and demotivating for all the talented people who are still here and a big red flag for the future of this company.

Way to many dr knowitalls working here that show their true unskilled labor. Look at the quality these days unbelievable. They should raise the rates back up and start giving tests again for these jobs. That would help give every current employee tests and raise the pay. Not raise the health ins and next to nothing for raises.

Everyone has a bright idea to give back to the company to keep jobs for a short time. The buck must stop the ca agreement eliminated 50 jobs at least and created more chaos with in the 301. I’m a C operator and I can not wait for my pink slip. This job is just another sweat shop just like anywhere else.

All you have to do is look at the 301 hall. Same names from 20 years sgo, just a different generation. In other words, nothing is going to change.
