My favorites are the ones with no direct reports. Yep that’s right - there are “managers” that have no one to manage! Make it make sense!
Need to clean house by firing all VP’s and managers then hire new ones based on their technical and management experience.
Few more additional points to the job description:
- start and end conversations saying “I appreciate you”
- use all ideas from advisors and the few smart employees left and putting their own personal label
- be ready to jump on whatever random BS request from their VP
- buy cheap disgusting pizza once per month to keep their semi-obese employees happy
- delete and block your number from their phone within 30 minutes of your lay-off notification from HR
The good ones - are ALL gone.
Easy 500k all in. Take all the generous PTO. Go to meetings most the week. Hop on a meeting, say a few things obvious. Good gig if your in the club !
