Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Can't be trusted

After many years of employment, I no longer feel I can take a day off for illness, let alone other factors without repercussions. They've destroyed our benefits, and honestly way of life. They no longer provide fair wages, and they treated us like cannon fodder while people making over $100k got to sit at home and impose stupid changes to operations. I can't trust this company to take care of our needs so if I don't feel safe and secure employed by them, why in the he-l are we trusting L3Harris to provide critical defense technology? They shouldn't be trusted, and it's about time we made our voices heard. They say "our voices matter" but we all know it's a lie. This company doesn't deserve to be a contractor for the United States of America.

You all probably don't really work at L3. Maybe you did at one time but could wait your turn to rank up or move around. Possibly due to your own issues. Anyways I was like most of you, complaining/burnt out/ over educated and uneducated at one time. I don't "love" the company but if the company reduced your benefits or your effort or money then leave. We trust the company to make poor decisions because they are a defense contractor, AKA lowest bidder. That's why the government or customer chooses them . If you think HR is your buddy you are in the wrong game. HR is the cops remember that. Can't sue the government if you have no money for a lawyer because you work for L3 , you have none. Can't sue them when you signed a lifetime binding non disclosure agreement when you volunteered your time for a check. These are all very simple simple things all contractors should know.

I left when I saw in a very early meeting towards the end of the year just how badly the benefits were going to be. When you cannot even get a straight answer to a question from Human Resources, you know that it's not going to be anything good. They literally invited some flunky from the insurance company broker to give a presentation on the new insurance coverage. Problem was, this fool showed up without anything as far as real information. Just had the canned details already on their website, so it was a huge waste of time and a big red flag when they would not advise what the premiums or any of the choices would be. It was a total smoke and mirrors show and Human Resources sat in the back of the room and let it all unfold.

It is time for a class action lawsuit against L3Harris and to notify the Government and company shareholders that this shell of a company is not operating on the up-and-up. I see it day in and day out.
