Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

SNOW goes live today

I'm predicting a disastrous week starting today. Who is the genius for launching SNOW at end of month? They need to be 🔥

Add Tim Smith to the p-t. What a joke he is, has no idea how to lead. Whoever gave him power, package them together and send them packing.

So many clowns making bad business decisions and receiving nice bonuses. If it doesn’t go well they just step down with nice severance or wait until they have another job lined up and leave. Keep calling them out!

Kehl and Gentile should have been fired long ago. Just more proof that only the incompetent brown nosers can survive in a company run by the village id--ts!!!

Tony Kehl and Greg Gentile are the bozo's that pushed SNOW. We should save money and fire them.......

Down for 6 hours yesterday. Classic Xerox new system launch. We've been using snow for a minute now, it's not too bad.

z80zt - first, products don't launch at Xerox, they escape. Then, they fail, re-launch, fail and, for a third time (or more) re-launch. Each cycle customers walk, deliverables vanish and more and more it looks like the previous offering. The only things that change are handling the newly created problems with irate customers and working feverishly under stressful conditions for a new group of clueless managers (agents of change, my a$$)...

Someone said it here. No one at this company accepts anything new. If it takes you out of your routine just watch out people will never forgive you. Xerox people and gis people are not good with change and not good with innovating out of the 1990s.

Overloaded the system. The current infrastructure can’t handle it. Most web based services went down today. Canada was on Holiday too. More users come back from vacation to join in on the fun.

What a joke. Not working at all. Email is now down on my phone as well. Can't close a call. Can't Remote Solve a call. Can I put comments in a call that has specific directions so other techs know before taking the call???

MUCH less functionality then what it is replacing at our core and way more cumbersome. But hey, it's cheaper...

Honestly, I have been involved with many system launches over my past 31 years. Most of them people thought were a disaster at first because they were not open to change and always think the previous way was the best. Not exactly sure what SNOW is but I assume it is the same. People will get used to it.

SNOW is an acronym for ServiceNow.
