People copy people! There are less and less of those who boost morale and good role models to look up to. There are more and more of those who are negative role models.
Recently, a man left whose positive attitude at work inspired me to do my best. He left because he could no longer bear this place. Sad.

There hasn't been anyone left at cisco for many, many years that I would consider a mentor, let alone a role model. There are more than too many examples of what not to be or do. mm, ab, cr, pick anyone in a senior leadership role. Anyone thinking these hacks are what you should strive to be as far as leaders go need to consider if respect is part of the equation. If not then there are plenty of uselessness there to choose from.
