Maybe it’s a little arrogant to say, but I wouldn’t regret getting laid off because I’m very bored with the job here. Nothing has changed for years, it seems to me that I do one and the same thing all the time and there are no more challenges. I do the job mechanically and the motivation is zero.

Last 5 years of my "job" in Plano, I did nothing, just like the management. My managers were never there, they were out in the "field" doing nothing like me ( going to bars and partying) The place is a joke.
I feel the same way. All this talk of innovation and doing things faster and better, I just don't see.
Seven year itch?
Nobody at StupidCo is doing anything interesting. Nor are most other businesses. That's just reality, welcome to it.
