It wasn't that specific but it seems any post about this place gets taken down. Kinda proving the OP’s post about this place. Things will never change unless certain aspects of management are exposed stop protecting these people.

Yea they nuked my post, I did now give any names just revealed some behaviors of certain managers guess that’s enough to get a post taken down. Shame it was a good one. I was a manager at that location from 2014–2019 left for another retail management job that paid a little better. I could have stayed but I just did not like working there, the other managers were indeed cliquish and some were bullies and un professional. My advice to anyone wanted to be a booksellers is to pick a small location and work part time only avoid the big super busy spots they are no different than any other big box retail store and come with a lot of the retail drama and baggage. Smaller stores are more manageable and you will get to be a bookseller without being slammed with so much busy work. Good luck everyone finding work, and for those of you still at Barnes and Noble I meant what I said in my last post changes are coming to management soon and many know their time is up that includes many of the managers still worker at my former store.
