Some Mainframe IBM clients now speculate that IBM will somehow sell or transfer the GDPS product suite to Kyndryl?

GDPS ties the mainframe to (IBM) storage - they aren't going anywhere without each other.
anything that is attached to mainframe will most likely never be sold. it's the only thing they make money on.
I think the # of customers and IBMers that truly understand GDPS will soon be counted on your digits.. but an annuity to be milked for sure
Some people still don't understand that Kynrdryl = (GTS - TSS). Probably from the messaging that IBM post spin is the "Hybrid Cloud and AI Company". Since 90% of IBM has nothing to do with that it gets assumed it's all going to Kyndryl.
