Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Xerox Canadian market going under

I have seen a lot of posts recently about Xerox Canada. Why are you people shocked at the management and layoffs? The management has always been psychotic and they want to monitor how much air you breathe and why. They make the job more stressful than it already is. Senior leadership is in talks of moving all direct sales to the agency. Why do you think they are making acquisitions left right and centre? They are setting themselves up for a successful agency/ dealer model. Xerox plans on keeping a “handful” of sales reps... yes I said it... a handful. So the only thing you can do is keep riding the ship.. or hop off and get a new job. The US has already lost their pension company match.. Canada will experience the same change shortly. Xerox is going down sooner than later.

In the US, the GIS Cores (now XBS) were basically a dealer channel and they've butchered us. Accounts are dropping us an an accelerated rate and we don't have the service/admin/anyone personnel to support what we have left. Sad, embarrassing and frustrating.

They quit matching pensions in Canada as well. I'm just hoping for a layoff soon!

The Scarborough production facility is mainly temp workers working for minimum wage of $14.25/hr. rent in Toronto is $1400 for a bachelor's apartment the size of a Malthusian Mouse experiment.

Everyone sees it coming and lots of talk within the departments about this change taking place soon. There were disclosure documents from pres and vps in Montreal that people accidentally saw and proves that this is happening. Goodbye xerox Canada... 2020 will be the best and last! Hello sh---y agency! Welcome.

Dealer channel is the right model right now. Particularly for Canada.

For extra Toonie / hr Scarborough warehouse could take on senior Management duties in Canada... and probably do a better job.
