Xerox will have an absolutely tiny number of actual direct employees.

It's on a mission to outsource everything it can. Either that or its hoping large numbers of employees will leave because their workload has become too high or the elimination of pay risds/bonuses has annoyed them so much.

The 3 stand-up businesses won't yield as much as was hoped but will be sold off the second they can be.

It's become evident that direct employees have become a serious inconvenience to the smooth running of the business..

X will be another GE capital story. Great company...once upon a time long ago. Very very sad turn of events for this once giant. To say you worked at Xerox was to be respected, it was such a sought after company to work at. Nowadays, I don't think there is one person who still works for them that feels safe, secure or happy there. They are all overworked, overstressed, health issues, emotional issues due to company environment. Very very toxic environment. I predict there will be a small sliver of employees and field sales and techs and manufacturing and that's it.

The Xerox brand will be around a long time, the company...not so much.

Had The fuji deal gone through, while also greedy and self serving for JJ, would have preserved jobs for a longer period of time. It would have been more business as usual which is what so many xerox people crave. A much slower demise.

Now there are no new printers to speak of with the company shifting to services and strategy to sell off sections of the company.

Where will xerox be? There will always be a xerox but it will be small and run out of Norwalk with much of the management on down sourced out to other companies. There is no tech powerhouse. That’s lipstick on a pig to make it attractive to other equity firms.

I think it all depends on if Carl I keeps ahold of us or not. If 2 years from now he (or his company) is still in control, we could be going the way of TWA.

If he sells off, and we get some good leaders in, we may survive.

stock languishing

continued reduced revenue. new ventures have minimal results

20k or less employees

big question is where are Carl and crew in 24 months

Business will recover, Covid will still be a factor.

I think, in general, things will be better for both Xerox and the wider business community...

My opinion, only...
