I just received word that another round of terminations occurred on Thursday last week in Canada. The employees are being annihilated unless then can work out of the Halifax or Montreal CICs. IBM receives either breaks or funding to move jobs there.

There were also multiple LinkedIn posts about people leaving IBM UK last Thursday.
What's going on lately? This site used to light up like a Christmas tree when there were big laughs and lately not a peep. Makes you wonder if HR is paying some kind of extra bonus in exchange for people agreeing to stay quiet about their layoff details!
