Anyone else feel like they are getting bombarded with merchandise for the G–B Sale? We have gotten load after load of trucks the past few weeks!

Some of the merchandise that just came in is already in clearance. Not even worth looking for anything to buy this double discount weekend.
Yep, and none of it is decent merchandise, just tons and tons of the same cr–––y stuff that we’ll have to mark down eventually, and leave on the racks because clearance is overflowing.
Anyone else feel like the stores are just being used as warehouses? No two stores seem to have the same stuff, like they’re just randomly shipping stuff out for us to pick

What are you talking about, G–B sale? But absolutely agree there’s not enough staff to put all this stuff out. Crazy
Good to know there are some things that never change at Belk.
Overcrowded, downright dangerously over–fixtured and over–inventoried salesfloors.
Out of date technology.
A timekeeping and scheduling system not worth a penny.
Woefully understaffed or mis–staffed stores.
Assiciates complaining about managent (we so love the store drama queens).
Downright hatred and derision for corporate.
Lack of training. Or at least meaningful, effective training.
Cheap, cheap, cheap cheap merchandise.
And so much more that has been, is and will forever be hallmarks of a company that just could not or would not and now will not change for its own betterment and yes, survival.

More merchandise keeps coming, the racks are so close and crowded with clothes, you can hardly find a path to walk through.
No room on the sales floor to put out all of the freight.
Yes! And with hours being cut and not enough associates......it feels like it will never get put out!
