Our store was without a store manager for about 6 weeks after our previous store manager (who started as a part time associate 16 years ago and worked their way up the ladder) gave a 2 week notice out of the blue. Our new store manager started Monday 4/19 and had already quit and the job was back being advertised on the Belk job website on 4/20. Oh, by the way, new manager was from Macy’s and had a personal connection to the RVP. Took one look at the situation and bailed out immediately! Doesn’t exactly scream ringing endorsement does it?

Belk stores are an absolute joke now that it has sold out to sycamore . From stealing PTO to denying vacations . Our store manager took 2 weeks off for vaca ( she’s only been there 2 months ) making us work 9 days with no off day . Forget a weekend off . Get off the sinking ship now before it’s too late . There is no way it will be open next year . Chanel , Dior , Nike , Lancôme , polo all pulled out . If that doesn’t tell you to run for the hills nothing will . RIP Belk
Couldn’t pay me to be a manager at any level at that store. I was a manager in that region for over 10 years before I quit.
One of the worse things the Belk family ever did was make double stores in the same mall. You walk yourself to death. I can’t imagine trying to fill orders out of Greenville. Has to be awful
