I've been watching what people are saying on this site. Don't ever trust your leader. They are politicians! The best thing anyone can do is recognize the fact your leader is a professional liar and manipulator to achieve their goals and do not have any interest in you. Once you realize this, they have trained you (whether you know it or not) how to handle it Keep a diary. Keep a folder. Keep any and all records you can. Memorialize instances of leaders making unethical remarks, condescending gestures, and refusing to help you arrange your goals. Never ever let ANYONE know you have this information. Do not share with friends nor in any electronic correspondence. They say knowledge is power. Let the politicians have enough rope and be assured the end result will be truthful and justified when it is needed. Believe me, a lot of leaders have a lot of dirty laundry they will not share. Play their game in their ballpark and beat them at it for the best future of the company.
