Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Software issues, really?

I don’t believe that the reason the company advertises jobs for which it doesn’t hire new people is a software issue. This cannot be true no matter how much they try to convince us that this is the reason.

Are there really people who believe in such a poor explanation? It seems to me more that the company wants to test our limits and see how long they can go with as few people as possible.

I don’t know honestly with all the software issues we have I’d believe anything. We are running on systems that should have been updated at the latest 15 years ago. What other stores do you know where all the systems pos systems go out and not just on Black Fridays

Agreed, no way a company this large can't figure out, or hire someone who can fix the issue, if there is an issue at all.

its all a ploy... there is no way a team of coders couldn't get macysjobs up and running within a few weeks. its been 5 months of complete abomination .. they aren't trying to hiring anyone.. they want the people there to be run into the ground so they quit so they do not have to pay severance.
contact your local board of labors to see if this is legal.. then you will get change
