Some former colleagues told me they were in trouble after moving to new companies where their skills were not that relevant. I’m trying to expand my skillset here as much as possible, but there’s not much room for growth here for me anymore.
How do you develop professionally outside of this company to keep your skillset relevant in the market?

Become a realtor. The test is easy. Even you could pass.
Look into the educational benefits. They'll pay you to pretty much study anything.
Got an interest? Google it, read up on it, try and do it on the side just make sure it doesn't violate any sort of conflict of interest.
Verizon used to offer some amazing internal online courses. The ones at FTR are meh.
