Any word on when those raises that were announced awhile ago are expected to hit?
If you've gotten yours, hows it look? Peanuts or an actual reason to stay?

Dear young buck, clearly you don’t understand.....1 pmr is midpoint. You’ll never get paid that upper salary because they will provide you with more responsibility and move you a band level up. So yes it’s pointless. And yes... 29 years and cruising. Im enjoying watching the entitlement show.
It's not about if ibm would ever pay that much but about the fact that ibm knows how much they're underpaying you compared to market.
You can atleast argue with your manager and negotiate if you get an external offer.
Some people are paid above 1 pmr so it's also helpful that way.
But your du----s wouldn't understand because you seem like an ibm lifer
"and they can't understand why ibm displays the max salary number."
Exactly... why show it. You will never make it at IBM. Do you know anyone who is band 8+ that is making their max salary range $$$$? i'll wait
My manager said one of the most disgusting things.
He said his biggest concern with pmr table was that ibm displays the midpoint and the max and they can't understand why ibm displays the max salary number.
I know that first line managers don't really control the amount but these kind of statements can only be made by ibm lifers, such a shame
Small pool of money given to the managers as usual and they use Watson as a base on what to give out (not sure what the input is) and then they can shuffle that around. Ours starts in May (Australia) and around 2% for top guns in the group ( but that depends on where you are in the pay scale- closer to the midpoint less you get).
My manager said 1% to 1.5% for most people. Systems BU.
From what I read here it sounds like he was blowing smoke.
slated for kyndryl and received a decent raise
A disappointing 2.5% raise this year, but better nothing. US based.
5% also, US based also. Was really expecting 10%.
What you have to remember is that now the next salary increase cycle won’t be until Sep 2022... that is if there is one!
Are any of these raises being handed out to those people marked for Kyndryl or is it just being given to those staying with IBM? I haven't heard of anyone yet going to Kyndryl getting one. I have not gotten a call yet. I was thinking maybe they wouldn't give them to people going. This week I did hear that when moving to Kyndryl we are keeping same pay. Would like it to be a little higher for the few months we actually work there.
18% here. Guess I'm lucky.
So are they all done? Wondering if I got 0% since I haven't heard anything yet
Small incremental increases don't mean much after so many years of no raises. But I guess something is better than nothing right? However, this may be a fake out – how many of us that just got something are going to be RA'd in the next few months?
Manager in April: "I'm happy to give you this raise – well deserved"
Manager in June (or sooner): "i'm sorry, we have to let you go. But the good news is that you get to keep your well deserved April raise, and you now gets $2 more in your severance package"

@1lfy+1asq0uai dont blame yourself, ibm doesn't give raises to tech people anyway if you don't have leverage.
Look outside and you'll be surprised how much other companies value your skills
8% are you people from the US? I heard for promotions also they give 8–13% raise. And generally, 3–5% normal raise.
“ I don't receive a raise from decades (literally) .”
Bruh why did you continue to work there?
@1ghc Good. I don't receive a raise from decades (literally) . Maybe I'm a failure, for sure. But I hope, in the deepest sense of this word , this speech be a warning to those who still want to join this company. Have a good life.

If you didn’t get a raise, maybe try harder. Or, maybe you’re on the chopping block.
13 years always gotten a raise and some bonus. You must have a disgraceful manager if you have gone 2 years without a raise. Or maybe you just need to try harder mate.
Let me tell you my story.
3% raise after last Sept 2019 raise. In between, no bonuses, or any other kind of monetary awards.
This year 100 bluepoints as a bonus. Overall, I feel devastated. I was single handedly managing entire DevOps org for my team. Also, working on Full stack applications.
Managers are totally useless, they are not at all technical and don't understand importance of any technical things. They just care about how many customers offering manager brings. That's the big reason products sucks at IBM. I interviewed with Amazon technical manager. You would be totally surprised to see their knowledge and technical depth required to do the job. Same goes with other FAANG companies.
I am already interviewing at 3–4 other companies. Hopefully I would be able to get out of this cr–p sooner. Wish me luck !! And I know after I leave they will be totally screwed. Will bring some intern to maintain application without any guidance. God save this sinking ship.
I also got 3%. Systems BU
3% would be disgraceful
I got a 10%, I'm happy with my salary, what concerns me is job security
4%
I received 3% yesterday. That is the biggest I have received in many years.
3% which starts from mid yr so effective raise is 1.5% for 2 years.
Ibm isn't worth it.
10 percent RA = 5 perlent pay raise (but only for mgmt)
6%
I've seen between 1% and 10%. Effective May 1st.
That last post was TWO point SIX FIVE percent = 2.65%
we hope they also defend (in proportion) the diversity (they love it) of seniority; those who have endured them the most would be better rewarded ..: P
Heard today. Go in effect May 1. Not a bad raise this year.
i'm going to get the begging hat
Raises, we don’t need no stinking raises!
Raises? I'm just hoping to have a job. sc––w the raises. Stockholders are about to get a dividend raise.
