Aren’t you guys tired of the same “OMG we are next” bu–––––t? I’ve been hearing the same rumors since the pandemic started. Get a life, we won’t know when “we are next”, best thing you can do is make sure your resume is ready and make sure your skills are up to date.
GM has been pulling out of allot of places, not just India.
The company is still gigantic, but definitely getting smaller.
It's all about executive pay, and that is definitely not getting smaller. To them places like India, Thailand simply aren't profitable like they used to be.
GM is falling behind tech and has been for years, most certainly given away tons of market share to companies like Great wall and BYD.
The free market system cannot work if we subsidize failure as in the case of General Motors.
