Is this a private blockchain that is corruptible by hacking a handful of private (or more likely hosted on public clouds) nodes?
Has NFT ownership ever been contested and tested in any court in any jurisdiction? Has any blockchain contract ever been challenged? What company would want to take that chance? The first time such a court case happens, IBM and IPwe will have to explain the details of their underlying infrastructure in a public court and the security and integrity of the system will be shredded by expert witnesses. In public.
Meanwhile, it might be less expensive to hire someone to hack into the blockchain and insert your own NTFs and licenses.
The companies said the NFTs will be stored and shared on the IPwe Platform, hosted on IBM Cloud and powered by IBM Blockchain.
I bet the NFT owners won't think this is such a great idea when IBM abandons blockchain.
Feeble attempt to look cool. IBM has never succeeded at that.
