Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

This keeps happening again and again

Every single time without fail they manage to lay off at least a few of by far the best and most productive employees. Then, when it’s time to fill their positions with cheaper replacements (which was the goal all along) it turns out they have to employ two people to do the work of that one person. Any savings they might have planned on? Gone. Work being done? Inferior. Tell me that’s not funny.

The general idea is that noone is irreplaceable. May be true in the end, but anyone that leaves take something with him... Piece after piece the Company lose his soul

Yes and AIG logic 101.

Given how many folks we have work for us in India, I wondered how much business we actually do in the country. So I checked, and guess what the answer is. Zero. Nada.

So we keep firing US employees of all colors, creeds, etc, and replaced with zero diversity Indian resources.

Nice.
