Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Time Off Limits

Every associate in our store had to sign the new Time Off procedure but I am curious if it will apply to management? Our store manager and several ASM/Leads are off most weekends/nights while many associate's requests are consistently denied with no reason given.
Is this happening everywhere?

Because I haven't found anything else yet. It's probably the only reason anyone's still there. It's certainly because anything is getting any better, The place is a joke. To the point of embarrassment.

You can only make a time off request 1 time per month and can only switch shifts 2x per month.

Yes, it's happening here in Ga.
Employees hours have been cut tremendously. One to days work per week for full time and part time. We have no idea what's going on.

Management told us about the time off last week. Part timers have work two days per week, and full time is now only getting one day.
I dont know if they're manipulating full time to quit.
Part time employees make less, which saves Belk money.
Who knows what they're up to?
They're not going to tell us anything, they'll wait until the week we close, then tell us.

What’s the new time off procedure? I’m sure we’re subject to it, but no one ever tells us anything.
