The people that have invested years of loyal service to make the company successful are now required to perform extra work loads. The store level associates with wonderful people skills and years of expertise that once stood proud now have their heads down trying to perform constant tasks with no support. Older associates are now being forced into hard labor moving heavy fixtures and furniture. The same tasks that used to be performed by able-bodied young people that were paid a premium hourly rate. Full time salespeople have erratic scheduling that makes them feel disconnected and powerless to run their departments properly. Systems in place that prevent managers to resolve small issues that occur during the day. Everyone knows change has come to retail but Macys has used this change to punish it's employees. You're a mean one Mr. G.

“ They paved paradise and put up a parking lot”, the Macy’s of long ago is just that long, long ago people really cared about each other, employees where praised and managers were respected..they have gone to the dark side, too political..get OUT!
Macy’s has gone to the dark side too political. It’s all about the ivory towers and it’s occupants. Who will be the last man standing.. karma is going to be a bi––h. Please get out when you can I was let go after 22 years, and oh yeah my almighty boss who I thought was one of my closest friends NEVER called me back as she promised.. it’s all about the higher ups and climbing their way to the top crushing all so called below them that helped them get to the top..all the LITTLE workers.. well top management at Macy’s enjoy the short ride cause when you fall there will be no one to catch you. Enjoy the ride cause it’s all about you! So glad I am out of there. Save yourselves.

So true. Its become a nightmare. People dread being in that screwed up place....customer service has be sourced out . Can't understand the the new people....no direction...so few sales people its a joke.
