Is it just my department or did Marathon Oil in general decide that merit and experience mean nothing and that knowing to kiss the right a-s means everything? The wrong people are constantly getting promoted and it's starting to affect our productivity. You can't put people who have no idea how to do their jobs in charge and then not expect it to affect the company. Just saying...

Just look at the "Advanced Senior IT Solution Architect" for MRO...from local cr------d, to failed operator, to failed midstream lead, to failed OCC operator, to failed OCC lead to failed digital oilfield lead to ringing the bell on wall street, to current position. Performed poorly at every position but pushed up the ranks due to extreme brown nosing. You can thank him for the completely useless "Click" software that cost in excess of $50 million that has done nothing but reduce production.
How does one get woke?
Kale and Spinach in land is a prime example of this. His nose is so far up Mr. Corporate’s a$s that he too has become a giant pile of $ hit.
For all of those complaining, the Amazon distribution center is hiring overnight shift. However if you complain there like you complain about MRO, you will get fired on the spot. Alexa will be listening in. You don’t know how good you have it at MRO.
