I wonder how many people made a drastic turn and went into a completely different industry? After BN I didn’t have much choice, nor could I accept jobs like grocery stores or small restaurants. Eventually I turned my creative hobby into a small business and the feeling is much better.

You couldn’t “accept” restaurant or food jobs?
Wow. Look down on people much ?
Your snobbery toward ESSENTIAL jobs is very telling .
Do you not get take out?
Do you not buy groceries?
Why are these people beneath you ?
Why are you selling expensive books and useless memberships ( and probably complain about food prices !) but can’t “accept” selling food ?!

When the checks stop: we’ll see what you’ll “accept” then !

But you can accept the BN culture of treating their employees.
You’re just as disposable.
You can’t “accept” good jobs because you’ve been in a bad one for so long !
You look down on fast food workers. Essential workers.
You work at Barnes. Barnes “furloughed “the majority of their workers then got rid of them! But go ahead, keep your prejudices. I hope you put on applications that you worked at Barnes. I hope they won’t “accept” you !
“Couldn’t accept”. ?!
There’s BN culture for you. Thinking their so great when they treat employees like garbage . A previous poster put it best ( on another thread) that BN employees are not hirable elsewhere.Nobody wants them knowing what the company is line and the level of employees that come from there.
I would say a good 80% of the people who were laid off get the taste of vo–t in their mouth when you mention B&N or retail. Most vow to never work retail again. Do you blame them?
And worst of all, they're still treating their employees like dog shlt.
Were restaurants & grocery stores expecting you to work? So you do know your own small business will fail if you don’t put in effort ?
Good luck to you.
