Is any one else's org deferring all promotions until the axe drops? (Is anyone else's VP using the layoffs to encourage their employees to take on more work and more responsibilities without changes in title or pay, while using layoffs as a very transparent cover story?)

Does anyone get promoted anywhere these days? Schwab is top–heavy already so of course they are not going to look to promote. Schwab quit rate is very low right now so they don’t feel the need to focus on retention. Look for other Schwab roles if you want to level up, or look elsewhere...
