Store Managers Have More Free Rein than in the past

I've been an STM since 2013 and have noticed that store managers have less accountability and more free rein to do what they want than in the past. Our store manager can work shorter shifts than the sales associates and nothing ever seems to happen. I've also noticed they are free to hire relatives to work in the same store. This "buddy system" is driving everyone out, we have lost 4 associates in less than two weeks. Prior to Sycamore, managers were monitored closely by RVP's and if associates had issues we had a mediation team that would review Excel Line concerns, all of that is gone now.

This truly is the beginning of the final chapter of Belk. It is lawful pillage. My store is like working in a forced labor camp. I knew the ending of the formal dress code was the start of a downward spirial slope.
