This is a company that no longer wants specialists or professionals and still demands the same results from its employees. Macy's should pull up it's dirty thread bare rugs and tear out it's stained ceilings and become a bare bones 34 Cent Store . Each store staffed with a total of three people responsible for everything. Selling everything for 34 Cents . Then they can be what they have truly become as observed by many retail analysts, a low end retailer.

I call Backstage TJMaxx.
Macy's is one of the worst employers. They should have closed years ago - what a total joke.
Have to wait to see what’s next. Toys R Us closed, we’re carrying toys. Godiva closed we carry more Godiva them just holidays. We are in competition with ourselves with Backstage. If jiffy lube closes we’ll be doing oil changes on the dock. We just don’t make good for business decisions.

MEOW!!!
Godiva closed? It must be the end of world!
yep its started to go down rapidly in 2015... then the installment of the dollar store backstage was the first nail in the coffin... now its filled with 95 percent junk and all the decent to good brands are leaving end of year. they treat employees like criminals from the min you walk in the door till the min you leave. they hire kids who do not give a c––p and play on social media all day. macys lost its sails to go forward and is just sinking fast.. i know long term customers who stop going cause they say the stuff is all cheap and c––p now... Nordstrom isn't doing any better. dept stores are not needed.. amazon has yet to launch its drones in full effect.. it has started with a few areas of the country but by 2022 it will be here.. Mk is closing all retail locations in a mall by 2022. Godiva just closed all its retail locations as well. every time i walk thru a mall i realize there is no need for a mall and i don't really need to come here..
